THE HOTEL - An established 4 star hotel in York city centre, privately owned with 36 bedrooms, two restaurants and three function rooms. THE ROLE - An experienced hotel Receptionist is required. The hours are a mixture of early shifts (7am - 3pm) and late shifts (3pm - 11pm). Duties include answering the switchboard, taking reservations, checking guests in and out of the hotel, handling the administration of function accounts and handling cash and other payment methods. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT - An excellent approach to guest care is essential for this role, as is a smart personal appearance and a natural smile! THE SALARY - £12,000 gross per annum plus meals on duty, a uniform, 28 days holiday per year and an equal share of tips. To apply for this job email
